- Our SuperPremium models are highly upgraded in terms of component upgrades, but it is the extra gunsmithing steps and additional range time over and above the usual industry supply that we provide to make our firearms unique on the market. Some of the gunsmithing performed you may never realize or find but it is all additive to make the rifle operate as smooth as possible. Four of the many gunsmithing tasks that we will disclose are:
- Tightly controlled chamber headspacing (our SuperPremium models in 5.56 NATO will all be SAAMI/NATO minimum chamber headspace of 1.4636”).
- Our bolts and barrels are carefully matched, and their locking lugs are pressure lapped to ensure all lugs are taking a distributed load (reducing infant mortality rate and get low on the bathtub curve of failure rate) and still the headspacing measures minimum after lapping.
- Permanently bedded barrel to the upper receiver
- Sealed gas block and gas tube to avoid gas leakage.
- A total of 28-35 (depending on how counted and configuration) total areas of interest are customized with proprietary methods or extra tasks performed over-and over mil-spec building and typical industry supply to maximize reliability.
- Extra range tasks we provide for each firearm include:
- Barrel and Action factory broken-in and ready for duty service. Extreme reliability proven at the range (combat loadout tested 210 rounds). This allows us to build some heat into the action to prove out all functionalities.
- Factory tuned gas, mass, and spring system.
- Factory zeroed sights and Optics to get you on paper. Each individual must still fine-tune for their shooting technique and ammo.
What you may or may not find on your firearm upon receipt after transfer:
- Cosmetic and minor wear and tear or small imperfections from our more extensive build processes of initial break-in at the range, tuning, zeroing sights, function checking, cleaning, etc. We partially build and tear down each firearm multiple times to achieve all the steps of customization required for ultra-reliability. We will take great care to limit any cosmetic wear and tear to a minimum amount and touch-up any minor imperfections where feasible, prior to shipment.
- This is your notice: Please be aware that any minor imperfections DO NOT constitute a means or ground for refusal after shipment. A normal mil-spec rifle will have about an hour or two at most of “hands-on time” considering all normal factory operations and QC checks in a mass production facility. Our builds are much, much, more extensive. While we can build a firearm to the usual mil-spec conditions and requirements in under an hour, we provide a much more advanced level of customization to ensure the highest level of reliability. This process involves numerous fitments, measuring of components numerous times, refining fits, and refitments, function checks with several cycles of assembly and disassembly required, and 210 rounds of ammo minimum shot at the range to fully prove out the tuning and ensure the firearm is ready for service as a duty firearm. We spend more time getting your bolt and barrel to the exact headspace than it takes to properly build a typical mass-produced firearm. Almost all our non-typical processes that add reliability take longer to perform than building a mil-spec AR-15 or AR-10. They are not meant to be safe queens but high-performance tools to be used and take on individual character. If you require a pristine and perfect safe-queen in immaculate condition, we cannot guarantee immaculate condition and recommend you not purchase our firearms. We would highly recommend you purchase from another great manufacturer such as Wilson Combat ®, JP Rifles®, LWRC®, Daniel Defense®, Seekins Precision® Sig Sauer, FN, or Springfield Armory, etc. amongst others.
If you have concerns about the quality of the product you are purchasing, we can possibly put you in touch with some of our past local customers that have seen, witnessed and own our firearms and can attest to our commitment to great customer service and a quality product that far exceeds the normal mil-spec firearm in performance.
